After-sales service
To ensure the performance of products throughout their service life and, consequently, the safety of the user, European regulations set out mandatory checks at two levels:
Level 1 of inspection: the EN 365:2004 standard (§4.2.2.l) specifies that, before using PPE, the user must carry out a visual inspection of the equipment.
Level 2 of inspection: the periodic general inspection (PGI); the EN 365:2004 standard (§ 4.4.b) specifies that PPE designed to protect against falls from a height must have undergone a periodic inspection by the manufacturer or a competent person within the last twelve months prior to its use.
