KRATOS SAFETY is a company specialising in the design and manufacture of personal protective equipment against falls from height. Since its foundation in 2011, the company has established itself as a leading player in France and internationally, thanks to its technical expertise, the breadth of its product range and its ongoing commitment to innovation.

Our history

KRATOS SAFETY is a company within the KS Group, a globally recognised leader in the field of workplace safety.

Its strong growth is built on solid foundations combined with a long-term vision, enabling it to meet everyone’s needs for the best possible protection at work.

2011

KRATOS SAFETY was established in a 650 m² warehouse in St Pierre de Chandieu (near Lyon) to meet the rapidly growing demand for Personal Protective Equipment, with a clear aim: to offer top-quality products at the best price.

2015

Launch of iBe-Safe, a simple, practical and intuitive headroom calculator that enables anyone to assess their equipment requirements quickly and accurately.

2017

New workspaces are being created in Heyrieux. This site houses the warehouse, offices and a training centre dedicated to distributors, trainers and users of our solutions, thereby facilitating more effective communication and providing enhanced support for our partners and customers.

2020

The extension of our premises has enabled us to increase storage capacity and incorporate new maintenance and training areas, thereby enhancing our range of services and strengthening the support we provide to our customers and partners.

2026

KRATOS SAFETY has relocated to Villefontaine, enabling us to implement our WMS in a 5,000 m² warehouse, to have a much larger KRATOS SAFETY Training Centre capable of hosting a wider range of training courses, and, finally, to provide larger offices for our staff.

Investing in people

KRATOS SAFETY is a team of passionate professionals who are always attentive to our customers’ needs. As the field of working at height is vast, the ongoing training of our teams is therefore one of our priorities. Our training centre, dedicated to our customers, is therefore widely used to develop the skills of the entire KRATOS SAFETY team.

As such, all our staff – whether they work in sales, order processing, marketing, R&D or technical support – regularly take part in in-house training sessions. Organised around specific themes, these sessions provide an opportunity to explore key topics in greater depth, such as changes to regulations, the use and performance of our products, industry-specific applications and feedback from the field.

Thanks to our training centre, which was originally designed for our customers and partners, our teams also benefit from an ideal environment in which to develop their knowledge, test equipment under real-world conditions and strengthen their technical expertise.
