Kratos Safety is committed to providing its customers with a repairability index.
Why a repairability index?
Beyond the stated lifespan of 10 years for textile products and unlimited for metal products, provided that periodic inspection requirements are met, it is important to offer our customers a maintenance service for certain equipment so that it can be returned to service and its useful life extended.
A maintenance service involves:
·Organising a maintenance network
·Providing stocks of spare parts
·Providing all technical documents, plans, tutorials, tools, markings, identification and traceability over time (minimum 10 years)
Although Kratos Safety products are not subject to this obligation, we felt it appropriate to rely on the existing legal framework and the calculation tools available. Our approach is therefore in line with Law No. 2020-105 of 10 February 2020 on the fight against waste for a circular economy.

This information raises awareness among end users about the possibility of extending the life and use of their equipment. This helps to combat premature disposal and preserve the natural resources needed for their production.
