People working at height are often exposed to high temperatures. The warning signs of heat stroke (increased body temperature) should not be underestimated as they can cause discomfort leading to a fall. 

Warning signs : 

- Fever

- Rapid pulse and breathing

- Headache

- Nausea/vomiting

- Dry, red, hot skin

- Confusion strange behaviour, delirium, convulsions

- Loss of consciousness

What to do : 

In all cases, call for help

If the victim loses consciousness : 

Put the victim in a lateral safety potion and monitor them until help arrives

If the victim is conscious : 

- Take them to the shade or to a cool place

- Remove clothing

- Cool them down by running cold water over their body

- Give him/her fresh water to drink
