KS2001 System
Die mitlaufende Absturzsicherung am flexiblen Drahtseil bietet den Benutzern durch ihre Bauart hohe Sicherheit. Sie wird an einer Leiter und dauerhaft an einer Struktur befestigt und ermöglicht dem Benutzer das Auf- und Absteigen ohne weitere Handgriffe.
Zuverlässig, komfortabel, robust, garantierte Langlebigkeit.
Hohe Modulierbarkeit des Systems KS 2001 durch:
- eine Befestigung oben, die sich an eine Vielzahl vorhandener Profile anpassen lässt,
- eine Zwischenbefestigung, anpassbar an Leitersprossen (Durchmesser min. 16 mm)
- eine Befestigung unten, die sich an eine Vielzahl vorhandener Profile anpassen lässt.
Das Komplettsystem wird mit Montageanleitung geliefert.
Das KS2001 System besteht aus folgenden Komponenten:
- FA 20 201 00 : Montageklemmen: Befestigung oben oder unten: Dieses Befestigungselement (für oben oder unten) wird mit Schrauben geliefert und lässt sich an einem Rechteck-, Rund-, U-, H-, T- und L-Profil… anbringen Belastbarkeit > 10 kN Entspricht EN 795 Klasse A1
- FA 20 200 00 : Mitlaufendes Auffanggerät mit Bandfalldämpfer: Einsetzbar am Edelstahlseil in gespanntem System.
- FA 20 203 00 : Befestigung unten: Hält das Drahtseil unten an der Leiter, um zu verhindern, dass das Gegengewicht durch Windeinwirkung an die Struktur schlägt.
- FA 20 204 00 : Gegengewicht: Sorgt für eine Spannung im Drahtseil.
Gewicht: 6 kg
- FA 20 202 00 : Zwischenbefestigung: Hält das Drahtseil entlang der Leiter und ermöglicht dem mitlaufenden Element eine ungehinderte Bewegung ohne Eingriff. Diese Befestigung dient der Reduzierung der Reibung des Drahtseils an der Struktur. Alle 8 m anzubringen.
- FA 20 200 99 : Drahtseil: Rostfreier Stahl, Durchmesser 8 mm, 7x19
- FA 20 200 98 : 1 Meter Drahtseil einschließlich eines Fertig-Endstücks.

FALL ARRESTER
EN353-1 :
A fall arrester on rigid anchor line is a device that automatically blocks and stops on the vertical support when the user falls. The anchor line can be a cable (rigid) or rail. Breaking strength of these systems> 15 kN.
EN353-2 :
A fall arrester on flexible anchor line is a device that automatically blocks and stops on the vertical support when the user falls. The anchor line can be a cable (flexible) or a rope (twisted or braided). These flexible anchor lines must be weighted with a counterweight. Breaking strength of these systems> 15 kN.
EN360 :
A retractable fall arrester is a device equipped with a lanyard (on cable or webbing) kept in tension. It follows the movements of user. The system blocks and stops automatically when the user falls. These come in different lengths. Breaking strength > 12 kN (for cable lanyard) or > 15kN (for textile lanyard)

Whatever the fall arrest system choosen (fall arrester on anchor line, retractable fall arrester, energy absorbing lanyard) it guarantees a fall arrest by limiting the impact on the human body at 6kN maxi.

Use:
It is used only in a job that requires significant amplitude of movements.
Trades:
The fall arrester on anchor line are mainly used for the following professions: works on pylons, Works on rock wall, works on lifts, window cleaner, rope access, rescue, roofer, roofing felt fixer,
telecommunication, maintenance ... The retractable fall arrester are used instead for the following professions: Works on facade, on the terrace, on scaffolding, on aerial lift, and maintenance..

How to choice ?
The choice of the fall arrest system must be based on the movement to perform. Obviously for the choice of the fall arrest system, the position of the anchor point must be considered (see page 48).

If the movement is purely vertical (along a scale for example) we always favour a fall arrester on anchor line.
They have the advantage of being installed (for some) permanently on the structure.

If the movement can be horizontal & vertical we will prefer a retractable fall arrester.
It's the fall arrest system that brings greatest freedom of movements.

The fall arrester on anchor line must always be used directly below the anchor point.
|
The retractable fall arresters are ideal for work of low-rise because the blockage is almost instantaneous, limiting the required clearance (see page 30).

For the work on an inclined plane with fall arrester on anchor line, it is necessary that it be equipped with a manual locking system.
